The Panasonic AJ-HPX3000G ( AJHPX3000G / AJ-HPX3000G / HPX3000 ) DVCPRO HD Camcorder,
Setting new standards in field based HD acquisition the new AJ-HPX3000G allows users to capture images at mastering quality 1920 x 1080 / 10-bit / 4:2:2 Sampling. This is achieved using a newly developed 2.2 megapixel CCD and the AVC Intra codec compression technology offering near HD-D5 quality at much lower data rates.
P2 solid state recording technology is used with its attendant advantages over tape and disc based systems. With five slots available, the latest 32Gb P2 cards allow 160 minutes recording at AVC-Intra100 (1920/4:2:2/ 10bits) for no compromise full HD.
Switching to AVC-Intra 50 (1440/4:2:0/10 bits ) gives double the recording time and provides quality on a par with DVCPRO HD which is also supported by this camcorder.
Standard Definition recording is supported utilising the DVCPRO50 codec.
As standard HDSDI, SDI and composite outputs are complimented by IEEE 1394 and USB2 connectivity and an optional Remote Control Unit makes this camcorder ideal for portable production units and HD studios.
For the ultimate peace of mind this product is also supported by a 5-year Panasonic Premium support package which guarantee's a 5 working day repair turnaround should the need arise.
