Warranty Terms
We guarantee all our equipment for 12 months, as per the manufacturer’s guarantee, for faults due to the manufacturing process.
The warranty excludes faults caused by neglect, misuse or accidental damage. The warranty excludes consequential loss of consumable items, eg: images, batteries etc. Every product that has a manufacturer's warranty comes with a warranty certificate. If the warranty certificate is missing, your invoice will serve as written proof thereof. If the need arises for a warranty, the start date for this warranty will correspond to the invoice date. If you have any questions, you may contact customer services. Alternatively, we offer the Mack 2 Year Pro Video International Warranty which covers professional equipment up to US$5000. Its cover starts from the date of (online) registration, within 30 days of the invoice date. The Warranty covers repairs in any country, made at a manufacturer’s authorized repair centre. You first register the fault on the Mack website and get an authorization number. After the equipment is repaired, Mack either pays the repair centre directly, or you pay the repair, send a copy of the invoice to Mack, and Mack refunds you. Please note: - If the manufacturer’s authorized repair centre decides the fault is not due to the manufacturing process, the buyer has to pay for the repair. This includes repairs where there has been misuse, tampering, modification or damage as a result of accident, contamination, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the operations manual. - The probability of faults due to the manufacturing process is very low. Many problems are due to software and can often be solved by email.
